Had to call someone out when our electric furnace stopped heating mid-winter. The technician showed up, checked the wiring and heating elements, found a burnt-out relay switch. Replaced it and cleaned the blower assembly. Working fine now, though I should probably schedule regular maintenance to avoid another surprise during a cold snap.
