window glass warranty 9

We had our window glass warranty tested last winter when a sudden hailstorm cracked the sealed unit. The claim process was straightforward, but I learned the fine print: it covers only material defects and thermal stress, not impact damage from debris. They replaced the glass, though not the frame, which left me wondering about the overall protection. It's a solid backup for manufacturing issues, but don't expect it to cover accidental breaks from kids playing baseball.
